Polymers are an integral material in each of our everyday lives and activities. While many of us never consider the process to manufacture the plastic items that affect our daily activities, some analyze and deduct the necessary industrial process that is used to create such items. Common rotationally molded products include playground equipment, agricultural tanks, laundry carts, plastic pallets, fenders, floats, boat docks and so much more. Being a relatively new molding process, rotational moulding continues to grow in new products.

Plastics Rotational Molding Resource
The rotomolding process produces hollow plastic parts that are extremely durable. In fact, it is the same processed used to create hollow chocolates during Easter and Christmas Holiday seasons. In place of chocolate, companies use polymer based materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene and more. Products can be relatively small weighing only ounces while other products can be huge, weighing thousands of pounds. The plastics molding process is used to make a variety of strong, durable parts such as playground slides, chemical tanks, hospital carts, storm shelters and so much more.
